Due to deteriorating trail conditions, the ESG event will not occur this weekend (2/3-2/4). There is a possibility that it may be rescheduled at a later date. Stay tuned and hope for snow.
There is still reasonable snow cover in the Lake Placid area so barring a totally unforeseen swing in the weather, we’re confident that the ski-o events at the Empire State Games next weekend will go ahead as scheduled. Our season opening event is scheduled for Sunday Dec.17th at Lapland Lake. Starts are from 11-1pm. Cost is the purchase of a trail pass. The end of year HO-HO-O event will be held at Mt. Van Hoevenberg on Dec 30 (not 31). EMPO will hold a backwoods Ski-O on Jan 20 at Partridge Run in (read more)
