Two New Events on the Calendar

Ski-O Finally Underway!
We finally have enough snow to put out some ski-o courses! Phil Hawkes-Teeter has organized a non-contact score-o event at Switzkill Farms while Eric Hamilton has placed controls for several courses at Lapland Lake. Events Postponed
The ski-o events scheduled for Lapland Lake, Jan 6-11, and Mt. van Hoevenberg to Jan. 10, have both been postponed. Conditions are marginal and there is not enough skiing terrain suitable for setting courses at either venue. Keep checking back for updates – as soon as there is more snow we’ll get courses set somewhere!
Van Hoevenberg Ski-O On Hold
There is not enough snow at Mt. van Hoevenberg right now to open trails or set a ski-o course but if conditions improve over the Christmas period we’ll post the news here!
Lapland Lake Event Postponed
Our first ski-o event of the season, scheduled for Dec. 19-20 at Lapland Lake, has been postponed until Jan. 6-11. More details will be posted soon!
This Season Will Be A Little Different!
There will be some changes to our ski-o events this season. Many of these, related to the corona virus situation, are only temporary (hopefully). However one permanent change that we all must be aware of is the banning of carbon fluoro waxes. This has been imposed by international bodies like FIS and the IOF and (read more)

Ski-o enthusiasts who don’t want the season to end have a few more events to choose from! On Saturday, March 7 you can head over to Crafsbury, VT for a race organized by Adrian Owens.
