Conditions could not have been better for Saturday’s NYSSRA Ski-O Championship event at Mt. van Hoevenberg with mild temperatures, fast tracks and great snow cover throughout. The NYSSRA Championship Ski-O event will be held on Feb. 22 at Mt. van Hoevenberg near Lake Placid. Ski-o enthusiasts participated in two great events as part of the Empire State Winter Games over the past weekend. Scratchy conditions plus the inclusion of snowshoe trails resulted in a very challenging event on Saturday at Dewey Mt. There’s still time to register for the ESG Ski-O events this weekend! Saturday’s race will be held at Dewey Mt. in Saranac Lake with check-in at 11 am, first start at 12:30.
