Post-Race Potluck Lunch: There will be food available after the race on Sunday at the VIC. This will be partly potluck and partly provided by race organizers. We welcome your contributions – please contact Chris Frielinghaus (cfrielingh7@gmail.com) or Janet to co-ordinate.

Course Setter’s Notes from David Hunter: The VanHo race on Saturday will be a faster paced event than the ESG’s with much less climb, more controls and shorter legs to ski.  It is designed to be more navigational and less a test of ski stamina. Sunday’s event at the VIC will be on a newly updated map. The VIC is a nature preserve truly in the wilds of the Adirondacks and you may find yourself on the watch for a unique wildlife sighting that you can add to the list back at the Lodge after you finish your course!
