Thanks to all of the rain-soaked competitors who braved the inclement weather at Lapland Lake for the first event of the season. All of the finishers held up much better than the maps did. Thanks to Eric Hamiltonand the folks at Lapland for making this event possible.
The snow cover on the trails at Garnet Hill Lodge is very thin at this point. We are hopeful for some accumulating snow this afternoon and evening. We will update the race status on Monday.
