Try-It Ski-O at Mt. Van Hoevenberg Sunday

A try-it event for first timers and all interested parties will take place at Mt. Van Hoevenberg on  Sunday December 28th. Yes, they have snow! Conditions are wet with some thin spots but it is one of the only places to ski in the state at this point. Those interested can meet at the Stadium Lodge from 12 until 2pm. Representatives of the Empire Orienteering Club and the NYS Ski Racing Association will be on hand to answer questions and explain the sport. There are maps available and all are encouraged to give it a go on the trails with no pressure or clock. If you have done some orienteering, you are also welcome to attend.
