We’re happy to announce that our ski-o event scheduled for this Saturday, Nov. 23 at Mt. van Hoevenburg is a go! Although there is a decent snowpack of 8-10″, there is some rain and mild weather forecast for Friday so rock skis are recommended.
Registration, Start and Finish will be at the Biathlon Stadium (not the cross country lodge) which is on your right just beyond the overhead bridge, not far from the intersection with Rte 73. Registration opens at 10:30 and Starts are from 11 – 12 pm. All courses will close at 2:30 pm sharp so please be back by then.
Three courses will be available: Beginner (2 km), Intermediate (6 km) and Long (9.4 km). SI timing will be used; if you don’t have an SI stick you can rent one for $2 at registration. SI AIr will be enabled for those wishing to minimize their time at controls.
Price is $20 WHICH INCLUDES THE TRAIL FEE! You don’t have to purchase a trail pass for this meet! Fee for van Ho season pass holders is $10. For first timers only, the fee will be $10, which includes a trail pass along with SI rental.
