A mini-Snowgaine course has been set out at Partridge Run near Berne, NY. Any type of non-motorized transportation is permitted and markers will be left out until January 31. The course is also available on UsynligO. See further details at https://empoclub.org/2022-partridge-run-rules-and-notes/.
A ski-o event will be held, weather permitting, as part of the Empire State Games on Saturday, Feb. 5 at Mt. van Hoevenberg starting at 1 pm. In light of high covid infection rates in the Lake Placid area, the event is being organized to avoid personal contact. Start times will be pre-assigned and though SI timing will be used, there will be special precautions regarding downloading. Pre-registration and payment is required at https://www.empirestatewintergames.com/. Registration fee includes a van Ho trail pass for the event.
