Eighteen eager competitors made the trek up to Lake Placid today for the earliest start ever to a NY ski-o season! For many it was their first time on snow this season and all had to endure extra navigation around ungroomed hills and unplowed roads and we know there will be some sore legs tomorrow. (read more)
We’re happy to announce that our ski-o event scheduled for this Saturday, Nov. 23 at Mt. van Hoevenburg is a go! Although there is a decent snowpack of 8-10″, there is some rain and mild weather forecast for Friday so rock skis are recommended.
