ESWG ski-o Feb 17-18 – update
ESWG ski-o has been rescheduled for Feb 17-18. Feb 17: Dewey Mountain, Saranac Lake, first starts 11am Feb 18: Mt Van Hoevenberg, Lake Placid, first starts TBD There will likely be three courses, beginner, short advanced, and long advanced. ESWG ski-o now Feb 17-18
The Empire State Games Ski-O competition has been rescheduled to Feb. 17-18. Saturday’s race will be at Dewey Mt. in Saranac Lake; Sunday’s will be at Mt. van Hoevenberg. Empire State Games Ski-O Postponed
Due to deteriorating trail conditions, the ESG event will not occur this weekend (2/3-2/4). There is a possibility that it may be rescheduled at a later date. Stay tuned and hope for snow.
ESG Update 1/26
There is still reasonable snow cover in the Lake Placid area so barring a totally unforeseen swing in the weather, we’re confident that the ski-o events at the Empire State Games next weekend will go ahead as scheduled. Mendon Ponds 1/27 CANCELLED
The warm weather and rain is quickly taking out the snow so there is unfortunately little choice but to cancel Saturday’s ski-o at Mendon Ponds.
Empire State Games update
Remember to register in advance for the ESG Ski-O event Feb. 3&4. Some of the information on the ESG site is from last year so please read this update. Saturday’s race will be at Dewey Mt. Rec.
